How long do bungees (ski) last in storage?
Two of the best inventions ever, skis and airplanes, together.
The bungees are installed on C3000A hydraulic wheel skis. There is an internal and external bungee.
The skis were purchased in 2010. Not sure when the bungees were manufactured.
Thank you for your guidance.

Here is an
AOPA article about bungees, including how to read the manufacture date from the color-coding.

Thank you Denali Pilot.
... I am aware of the strips and how to read them. Do not have access to the skis at the moment. The cords must be at least (5) years old.
Just researching the "lifespan" of bungees? Is there a TBTC (time before trash can) that users recommend?
