Re: HSF again!

What do you play? I play guitar, my wife plays mandolin and my son plays the upright bass.

Lets pick! I'm a bluegrass freak.

Guitar and some other stuff. I picked up a dobro a few years ago but haven't spent enough time with it to add anything useful to a picking party! I'd love to pick up the mandolin as well.

Re: HSF again!

Mandolin seems so easy it's cheating after playing the guitar.

I forgot to send my regrets about your wife and the banjer and all. That must be real tough on you. :-)

My handle should say it all. Fiddle and some mandolin. If there's a bluegrass jam to be had at HSF, count me in! It's all about Pickin', Grinnin', 'n Flyin'.

flying into the USA, i usually avoid LAX like the plague, go international into HNL, then domestic anywhere in the US after that, no getting stuck in huge customs lines trying to get through LAX.

There are several flights a day to (and from) Honolulu-Sydney.

Watch out for JetStar, bring your own food! Hawaiian Airlines is much better for the price.

The "Bradley" International Terminal in Los Angeles is a freeking Joke. I was just there picking some people up from Switzerland and it's getting worse everyday.

BTW I love Brissy (Brisbane) just swipe a passport and if the computer likes you then your gone 10 minutes. And the train connects International and Domestic. I love Australia.
