Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

Re: Husky mushing

I don't know whether to be impressed or shocked! =D> [-X

A local guy was caught doing a similar thing with a waterskier and a Hughes 500.
He got the full fury of the wet bus ticket.

Re: Husky mushing

Zane the Husky looks like a bad photo shop to me, but maybe the light outline really is reflection from the snow???

Re: Husky mushing

Unquestionably edited with photoshop or something similar.

Click on the image to see the full resolution version. You can easily see where they smudged out the registration number on the fuselage. The rest of the picture looks legitimate, though!

Re: Husky mushing

The reasons for photoshopping the rego off would be obvious... But I can't see a knot in the rope at the tailwheel, and B&W is a great way to simplify photoshopping a picture together too.

The reflection from the polished spinner and hubcaps looks believable enough, it also has a shadow on the snow. :^o

Re: Husky mushing

Where's the prop blast on this guy? Should have blown his hood back. His skis are dusting up snow just sliding along but nothing blown up by the prop blast. My vote is its fake.

Re: Husky mushing

looked at it for a while and given the subtleties that are hard to duplicate, I'd vote real.

A friend of mine towed a water-skier with his little homebuilt floatplane once, but he never lifted off, just step-taxied.
