Congrats on the rating. Back in the 70's when I took my ppl, a DC3 rating was a big thing. I'd still like one too. Now for some thread creep, being Tri-motors are being discussed. My father had a ride in one at the local fair here in August of 1935. He took a picture of it. The neat thing is that it was C1077 which has been restored by Greg Herrick and has been at Oshkosh gracing the Ford display for the last few years. Closest I've come was a ride in the EAA tri-motor at Oshkosh in 2010. Also got to sit in the cockpit of 1077. (On the ground).
