Yes, I am a backcountry hiker! I used to cover a lot of distance that way...but now I mostly walk my landing and takeoff zones. Which might explain why I need to go on a diet.

Our PA-22 is still in use, but my son is flying it most of the time. I fly it as much as possible, still about the most fun airplane.
But to your other question, no, I didn't get another airplane. But I fly a lot of different planes at work, including that beautifully 1970s paint job C185 yesterday.
