I'd like to nominate Pops for Tampon Pilot of the Year

After this

Had fun on the dry lake yesterday, it was all ice with about 5" of snow over that. I never knew how much fun brodies could be with a Cub... ha ha The whole "E" was made at full throttle..

He may not be number one, but he is right up there

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

Yup
He's my hero. I don't know anyone that has more fun with a plane than him.
I know there's alot of good sticks around, but no one's got that grin. Blu maybe close.

I think Pops would still have that grin if all he had was an old pickup. What my dad used to call a "good time charly". Not relavant to haw good a pilot he is. Just a good guy.

I always wonder about people who smile to much.I think a drug test is in order. Just kidding.

I would like to be like Pops when it comes to flying and making people smile.

Bobby Cox comes to mind too. If y'all don't know Bobby he flew solo from North Carolina in a Super Cub. He flew all up and down the Snake River one day with Pops and landed Mile High on 8:50s.

Oh and he is 80 years young.
