They had there flyin at Animas Airpark last weekend. I flew to it. Nearly a 7 mile flight. It was a lot of fun. Not too many flyins, maybe 15-20 planes, but they probably had 250-300 folks there. Poker run 1st thing Sat Morning. I think there were 25 planes prticipating. I took a young fella with me that wanted to go or a plane ride. I think he got more than he expected . The guy with the winning hand got nearly $500.00/ Not bad.

Then the spotlanding contest, which I won , see attached photos





Then an afternoon of victory margaritas, followed by a great roasted pig dinner with all the fixins, includin ice cream and chocolate syrup for desert, then a good band, and more margaritas.

All in all, a pretty damn good day.

Nice job Gary! Sounds like it was a lot of fun. I just hope the fuel bill to get there didn't break you!
