We had a nice day ice fishing for pike yesterday. The 0-300 doesn't put out much heat when it's 5 degrees out.

We found a lake that had the snow blown free.

Defensively Pike. I like eating it most times of the year, but never tried sushi. I guess I like my fish cooked. Can't wait to get my skis on and get out in the lakes myself!

Are you trying to ruin the guys winter ice fishing with that Nuvite comment??

We've been out ice fishing a few more times this winter. The bite seems be picking up as we get closer to spring. Almost no one is on skis this year with the wacky Alaska winter we are having.

I am on skis and I keep asking myself why I don't put my wheels back on! I'm still counting on doing some flying up high, where there has been plenty of snow. But, when I see your pictures, I think again.

Keep posting reports, you might just prompt me to give up on skis!

That looks great!! Is that figure eight? I'm planning on flying out Saturday to fish there.

Figure 8 is in good shape. You need to pick an area where the winds have cleared the drifts. South of both points on the lake are good areas for landing at currently.

Other lakes in the nearby area are good too at the moment as well if you don't want to see quads.
