Are you sure that is private? Looks a lot like Wilson Bar to me. C48.

my two cents is Pistol Creek... on the middle fork.. private and has homes only gotten to by flying ... couple homes for sale there... go to flying brokers.com and browse....mike chapman is tthe realtor....and they don't want ya at Mackey bar either....unless you book a stay....

Well - there are two strips - first one is Wilson Bar - so best bet is they have just flown over and are returning back to Mackay Bar. Islander could be bringing in supplies from McCall Air.
Iceman - I did not see the lodge at the far end of the second strip - or Hollbrook's burned out cabin on the right which could make it Pistol Crick.

I've walked to Pistol Creek from Indian Creek. It's not Pistol Cr which is a whole lot easier than the one in the video. Used to know Dick Paulsen that had a place at PC.

ok gotta admit it looks like PC from the air though... I stand corrected....anyway a couple nice homes for sale at PC and one at Big Creek,,,been into Shearer several times and saw the lodge but flying over it I'm usually too busy concentrating on Shearer to look long at it...

iceman, any idea how much the homes will cost at PC? It would be a sweet place to have one and I think I could maybe get the plane in and out.

google what i printed above and his listings are there as well as pictures... all were in the 300,000 range... I kind of like the one offerrd at big creek but the PC homes were really nice....for sure pistol is a very do able strip.. it is long and the approach is rather easy up the river and a slight right turn to final.. sort of like Wilson bar....
