Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Ok,

New member but thought I'd post a little trip report from last week. Flew to KCOE and decided to take the Maule to it's first (and mine) grass strip. Looking for something simple, flew to Cavanaugh Bay on Priest lake. Landed through the sprinklers to get a little plane wash and chatted with the folks there. Strip in fine condition and folks were friendly. I was informed that my next destination was ok as well for a newbie, Magee RS. So up and out for the 20 minute ride to Magee. Magee is in good condition as well (watch for the dead ELK on the right side of rwy 18.

Took a day off and flew to Sullivan lake, WA in the evening. 70 degrees and a bit heavier than I would of liked (couldn't turn my Father and Niece down!) but Sullivan Lake was a non-event. 1700 feet, very smooth. Don't believe the A/FD report of roughness, it was smoother than the next two.

Then on Friday, the main event! KCOE to Meadow creek, Meadow Creek to Spotted bear and then to Schafer (didn't land at Schafer, gusts and turbulence too much for my blood). Spotted Bear was probably the roughest of the strips. Meadow creek was great and hit Bigfork MT on the way back to KCOE.

I'd add pictures but can't figure out how to do it directly!!!

I was at Schafer the day you came by. Probably about 15 planes landed that day and everyone of them mentioned the turbulence in the area. Didn't smooth out until around 8 pm.

We'd love to see your photos! Idaho in the summer is heaven for airplanes.

Here's a quick way to add photos. Go to photobucket.com and create a free user account. Upload your trip photos to your new photobucket account. Then click on the image link under each photo and it will show up as "copied". Then paste the link (right click or ctrl P) one by one to your BCP post.... and viola...you've got photos.
