Idea: Airstrip Improvement Fly-In
A general forum for anything related to flying the backcountry. Please check first if your new topic fits better into a more specific forum before posting.
Hey Zane I was just sittin around thinkin about my plane and where I wanted to fly next summer, one thought lead to another and I wondered what you and the group thought about members that live in an area(maybe 100-200 mile radius) getting together and help to improve a strip in their area. We all like to do this, why not get together, have an excuse to fly(like we need one), help and improve backcountry strips. The more of us that would participate in something like that, the more strips we would have to play in. I know there are several within a hour or so of me that could be shined up a little and give us some interesting places to go. Anyways, just a thought Gary

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

I love runnin' chainsaws and tractors with box scrapers... Well I dunno if that's on the list of stuff to do but I think it's a great idea to give something for once.
I'll have more to say about this tomorrow when I'm not a few beers down.
