Sad about the plane. Glad to hear he made it out okay. Good chance his experience pulled them through. Of course, it will be written up as "Pilot Error".
I have a veterinarian friend up there right now. It's her third year volunteering. I was glad to see she wasn't on board or I'd never be able to get her back into a small plane.
