In search of someone to paint my wings

I'm looking for someone to paint my wings, cowl, a couple fairings, and wingtips for my Maule, all off the airplane. I'm located in Kentucky and happy to trailer them a rather big distance if I can find someone. I have about 8 months downtime to work with. My preference would be an old timer in their garage or something who knows exactly how to do it right. No need for a big shop. Single color, no artwork.

Any leads would be appreciated! The well known shops seem to not be very interested for some reason, it's been hard trying to get on anyone's schedule.

Thanks!

I would consider an auto body shop. Some masterful painters at some of these shops. They may or may not know about stripping paint but its worth asking around. Most good shops have excellent paint booths for a clean dust free job.

There is a shop at KPTB (Dinwiddie, VA) that is very familiar with fabric and painting wings and cowlings. They do pretty good work. Shields Aviation.
