Interesting article by John King

John King posted an interesting article on improving pilot flight safety via some unconventional suggestions. I read some echoes in his writing of some of the discussion of similar topics that we've touched on here at BCP from time to time.

his article is at http://www.flyingmag.com/pilots-places/pilots-adventures-more/three-counterintuitive-solutions-general-aviation-problems

Teaching pilots to fly slow in the pattern rather than fast seems to make eminent good sense - but is counter to what the flight instruction industry has been teaching for a very long time.
