Edit: ...or some mini HD cam. Seems like it's pretty authentic. Amazing. Wondering why the landing was edited out though.

I say its real because the shadow of the bird is clearly visible at the right points. I would say the gopro probably fell off when the bird landed.

That's really cool! I highly doubt it's a full-sized GoPro though.

Search YouTube for BBC Earthflight. Best air to air photography ever. Lots of formation flying with an ultralight for HD slo-mo stuff but also some onboard footage from eagles over the Grand Canyon to Andean Condors over (where else??) the Andes
Look for the full episodes that are nearly an hour long. Good stuff.
