Jan & Mike Travels (Utah 5/28 through 5/30)
Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!
Photos of a wonderful weekend (5/28 through 5/30) in Utah with the Markers and our Carbon Cub. Heard lots of other pilots out enjoying the desert backcountry airstrips!

Very nice, the CC looks good out in the backcountry. I was just in that neck of the woods last week.
Thanks for posting.

Good to hear you have been out there too. Last weekend was just about perfect for visiting these airstrips. We got chased out of Angel Point by blow-off from the cells over by the Henry Mountains and then again from Cedar Mountain by the cells developing in the mountains to the north of Huntington.
On Sunday before we landed at Cedar, we flew upriver on the Green to check out Tavaputs Ranch (I think is what it is called). What a beautiful setting for an airstrip. Fairly high elevation - 9000 feet or so. We may check it out in late summer or early fall when there are no cells around. Also have to check if it is private or not.
Maybe we will see you at Rol's fly-in at Murrow on the Divide Ranch this weekend? We are #10 on his list of invitees.
