Those cold, snow covered, clear days are magical.

Some days it just all comes together, despite shattering my ipad on the ramp getting the plane loaded. Enjoying spring break with my buddies!

Hard to beat the looks of an old straight tail Cessna. Looks like a good way to spend spring break.

Some random iphone shots of some fall flying this week. Each of my boys got about an hour seat time. I'm amazed at their ability at such a young age. I'm gonna need two more airplanes!

Jeredp,

We need to get together and fly and hunt some birds. Almost identical airplanes and performance. I'm just the other side of the hill on Hwy 2. I have access to Pheasant area in the Palouse and a few quail areas in Moses Lake.

That would be awesome! I'm up for both! Send me a pm when you get the urge to come over to the dry side!

Re: Jeredp's Trip Reoprts

A good friend of mine started texting me over the weekend from Moose Creek Idaho. He graciously volunteers to man the ranger station there every april. He was planning on flying out when he had a bad oil pressure indication on his 182. After a couple days of satellite text messages(Delorme Inreach is a life saver) I was fairly convinced that his problem was a bad pressure sensor. So I had a new sensor overnighted to me from JPI, I loaded up my trusty old square tail with most of my tool box, a mechanical gauge, and probably most of what a guy would need to overhaul an O-470; and I set course for 1U1 at 3:00 yesterday afternoon. After a beautiful 3 hour flight below some scattered layers, I made it to Moose. Our troubleshooting proved to be right, I replaced the sensor, verified oil pressure, and we were good to go! I stayed the night there and we headed for home this morning. What an awesome adventure! These are the days I'm so grateful for what I have. So cool to be able to help a friend in need and have a great adventure. I love Moose Creek and will return!

Awesome Saturday morning read over coffee! Nice work my friend. Hope all is good your way. Weather and Work has slowed flying a bit, that should change soon. [emoji1303][emoji1063][emoji41]
