Johnson Creek Smoke Report

Planning on leaving tomorrow (7/22) for Johnson Creek. It seems the web cam is down and was looking for a smoke report.

Re: Johnson Creek Smoke Report

Jeff, check the cams at Big Creek and Yellow Pine. There is quite a bit
of smoke but you could probably be ok at Chamberlain for a while. I may
have a report later today from a friend heading that way this morning.
How is that new panel working our?

Unfortunately, I have only flown it once since the refurb, however, it is amazing!

I will be looking for an update and checking the webcam!

Have a look here: https://idahoaviation.com/webcams.php list of Idaho aviation webcams. The yellow pine NW cam is up and working.

Re: Johnson Creek Smoke Report

Flew over johnson creek this morning, and landed @ big creek. It was a bit hazy early when the sun was at a low angle but not bad. Should not be a problem. Watch out for the TFR between johnson creek and big creek.

It is better to be late in this world, than early in the next.
