Just a video, Clear Creek Int. Flying, Zipline & Explosives

Hello Backcountry Pilots,
Had some friends drop in on me at Clear Creek last weekend. We had two Super-Cubs, one 160 HP Murphy Rebel, and my Maule. The video includes tail-drager flying, zip-line action, and yes explosives too. Anyway hope you enjoy the video that my friend made.

Tragically, ATXCitab (Hank Sasser) perished in a crash in August 2014. He was a great guy and will be missed. -Z

Having spent the past four months in the desert and planning to return to the US for a bit on Friday I could actually smell the grass on a couple of those shots. Good work.

Very nice!

The video ties all of the imagination and labor you put into the strip into perspective. Hell of an idea.

That looks like some good times! All my favorite things, just needed a few more firearms and fishing poles and it'd be perfect =D>
Nice job on the video, what camera and where are you mounting it for the inflight stuff?

I can't take credit for the video. A friend of mine took the footage with a gro-pro and a cell phone camera I think. There was a lot of shooting too, but the camera-man was shooting his semi automatic pistol at the time. 400 pounds of dry fertilizer goes on the runway next weekend. Then I'll hope for some more rain.

Awesome! You've got a piece of heaven there. Cool to see it come together.

I love how grown men can laugh like kids when they have explosives to play with :D .
