I've owned a Kitfox and have flown in a few RVs. The plus for RVs: they are about 45mph faster, tandem or side x side, awesome visibility.
I still prefer a Kitfox. They have great visibility, carry a large load, takeoff/land way shorter than an RV, sip gas, fly with the doors open, and are still pretty fast with 120mph indicated (Van's speeds are advertized as TAS so 190 at 8500' translates to 164 indicated). Plus I like rag wings. Flying around Maine in the winter in a Kitfox with 21" tires or skis and landing on frozen lakes and rivers is about as good as it gets.
Zane - thanks for sticking that bug up my butt. Now I'm going to be scheming for the next month how I can come up with the funds to build one of their Super Sports.
