I wonder how many are left, seems there are a handful wrecked every year.

#68 here.
Lots of skywagons are wrecked, but some of them (eventually) are reborn.
You can't keep a good data plate down!

As far as how many are left, here's the FAA database for 180's:

I didn't take the time to add them up, but there's a bunch!

FWIW the "year model changes" article that Joe Stancil or someone came up with many years ago
says that Cessna produced 6,193 180's & 4,448 185's.
