Legislative push to ban ethanol in premium unleaded starting

If you are interested in helping your state pass legislation to ban the blending of ethanol in premium unleaded gasoline, I hope you will look at the information at www.e0pc.com and add your name in your state status page on the web site by sending an email to [email protected] with your name and location (city and state) and indicate whether you give permission to link your email address to your name so that others in your state can coordinate with you. There is also a forum linked to the web site where you can post information about the status of your efforts.

So far the Oregon Pilots Association, Idaho Aviation Association and Montana Pilots Association are committed to passing this legislation and there are people active in Florida, New Hampshire, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia working on this program. I hope we can get the Washington Pilots Association and other western state aviation associations involved too.

Fly lead free on mogas: www.flyunleaded.com

FWIW, I just checked ut this website, and emailed them to add my name to the list of supporters of making non-ethanol premium gas available. Esp since the price of car gas went down, making sure that non-ethanol car gas remains available will sure help to keep flying affordable (and safe) for me.
If enough people get on this bandwagon, maybe the guv'mint will come to their senses on this. And before anyone brings it up--no, I'm not anti-farmer, I just don't want to have ethanolized gas forced on me.
