Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Lincoln is actually where my plane is hangared but I haven't spent enough time around the field to meet any of those guys. Really nice looking Fairchild!

About 30 some years ago a couple of friends and I flew to Lincoln for some sort of fly-in. We landed, found a place to park and proceeded to do the usual young pilot thing, look at girls, look at airplanes, look at girls etc. It only took about 15 minutes to exhaust all possibilities so we found a place to sit, one of the guys took his shirt off and lathered up with sunscreen. No more than 3 minutes later somebody taxied the wrong way and had to do a quick 180. Well, needless to say he plastered Jeff with about 300 lbs. of dirt, small rocks and bits of grass. As I remember that was the highlight of the day for the rest of us.

Vick that Fairchild is actually is actually hangared on the field too. I know a few people hangared up there. We walked through all the hangars yesterday there is quite a bit of cool stuff there. Lincoln is a really nice airport.
