Going through log books on a prospective purchase and there was an Total time entry error back in the 80's. Basically the time in the logbook jumped about 1000hrs in between a 100 hr. It was found and noted later on and then again it happened. Going through all the logs I can tell this was an error. Just wondering how big of an issue this is for the long term/resale?
Thanks,
Travis

I've seen that several times. As long as it was an honest error and the times/inspections are correct as of today I wouldn't think it would be a big deal.

Good to hear.. one can see it pretty quickly -- they do need to make a clear entry into the logbooks about it.
