Looking for Posters (paper on wall kind) for Safety

Well we have had yet another fatality here in Flagstaff. It looks to be another in a long line of density altitude related mishaps. Bonanza, newish pilot/doctor, new airplane to him.

So being one of the airport commissioners, I have the task of getting transient pilots to be more aware of what they are up against. So I would like to get some posters as a start, that caution to check performance charts, lean your engine on take-off. The stuff most here on the board take for granted. If I can save one cetacean sized family pod of 4 from getting into another 172 with full fuel baggage and trying, against the laws of physics, to get it to fly into the trees. I will be relived.

So if you have a suggestion, pointer to a clever poster or devilishly good idea, let me know. I only found one Swiss CAA poster today on the web. The military used to have stacks of these, cause if there is a dumb way to wreak an airplane, the military has done it 100 times.

We already broadcast it on ATIS and have automated readout signs in the run-up area to no avail.

Kind of Grizzily, but should have a set of posters on the wall of all the wrecked aircraft that are just off the end of the strip
Or maybe a map with a big red X and how many died overlayed on terrain map on the wall?

Good luck!!

Actually, don't have that much wall space. The idea is effective, I still remember the wall of fingers in jars at Ops in Tinker AFB. It was an excellent illustration of why not to wear a wedding ring around airplanes.

We really don't want to make folks think flying here at altitude is super dangerous, but we want them to be aware that their are dangers. If we scare them all off, we won't have any traffic and service will decline.

Maybe a book on the table??
Looks like you need to keep some coming back in an airplane instead of a hearse!!
Difficult to explain to the itenerant who does'nt have a clue!!
Maybe something outlandish to get them to at least think about it!!
Good Luck
Wasn't there a video of late that showed a guy flying for a ways before the depth exceeded the draft in the dessert?? Set that on run all the time on the weather computer in the pilots lounge!
