Lost a friend and neighbor last night
Debrief, share, and hopefully learn from the mistakes of others.
My neighbor Mike was killed in a plane crash last night. Hard to understand right now as he was a professional and commercial pilot. I couldn't imagine him being careless or reckless when flying. A cessna flew tree top level over the house last night shortly before the crash and was so low I couldn't see it through the trees when I rushed outside. Wasn't but a very short time later Mike crashed 15 miles south when he hit a tree. Pure speculation on my part but I think he was the one that buzzed the house. I never would have thought he would fly that low. I even commented to my wife at the time I hope that guy knows we have power lines around here now!
Sad news in any event.

I thought of you when I saw the details of this crash this morning. Terrible deal all around. My condolences on the loss of your friend.

Sorry to hear. There's been a rash of them the past couple of weeks. Be careful out there, friends.
