Lycoming STC for older Stationairs

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Lycoming STC for older Stationairs

I have a fella asking me if there is any STC for IO-540 on the older U206's. Specifically a 1979 U206G model. I see the AeroMods upgrade to turbo and 350hp. not sure if turbocharging is something that he has in mind. Just a lateral move to the normally aspirated Lycoming. Any thoughts/help?

Re: Lycoming STC for older Stationairs

I looked and looked, no luck. Called aero mods and he would only sell me the hole company not the stc. Ended up getting the 550 redone at lycon and it is vastly improved.
The turbo 540 is heavy not a good backcountry mod aparently, fast though.
There is an old thread on here somewhere from when i was looking with some good info if you can find it.
