Really nice video produced by the National Park Service. Makes me want to go back!

Nice video....novel coming from the NPS and Wilderness folks.

I'm glad to see Lynn has gone to the "Dark Side"...they can certainly benefit from his skills, knowledge and perspective. The Wrangell/St. Elias management has always valued aviation much more than most of the parks.

Good promotional video to offer the perspective of an airplane.

Re: Lynn Ellis: Wrangell St. Elias -- A Bush Pilot's View

Just as a point of information, the Ellis clan has hunted and flown in the Wrangells for many many decades. Bill, the patriarch of that family, guided and flew there for many many years. His sons, Lynn, featured here and Kirk, picked up where their Dad left off. They are in fact the real deal when it comes to serious working back country pilots. And, they know that country as well as anyone. Again, I'm glad Lynn has gone to work for the NPS. His knowledge of the country and his flying expertise will make a big difference in their program.

Promoting access to areas otherwise inaccessible...with an airplane on wheels? Somewhere a NPS resource manager has just choked on their coffee.

Awesome video. It's good to know not every Park wants to go back to hiking boots and canoes only.

Great video, thanks.
Met the Ellis brothers last year at Valdez, they entertained us with great flying stories.
