M4 doors.

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

M4 doors.

This is just a long shot but has anyoune got a line on some M4 doors. I am about to go patroller doors, and I would rather buy a set of doors with patroller windows than cut up my doors, which look really nice right now. If it's cost prohibitive I'll cut the door skins for the patroller doors but if now I would rather buy a set of doors and change doors. I know all you guys are saying, once you get the patroller doors on you won't want to go back anyway , but I thought I'd ask.

i have flown helicoters & maules in ak for 37 years. i have an m6 and m4. most flying is on floats.

Yeah I know I already have the drawings from Maule. I just hate to alter the stock doors since it breaks up the stripe. I know I'm being picky but it was just a thought. :?

I saw a set of patrol doors once that the guy had carried the trim stripe right thru the door plex. Looked pretty good, I don't know how much the view was obscured.
Couple months ago I saw a fairly new maule with a nice set of patrol doors-- which the owner had upholstered the inside of. He even had a finished side of upholstery showing thru the plex. Couldn't believe it. Guess the little map pockets on the upholstery panels were more important to him than the view.

Cessna Skywagon -- accept no substitute!

alot of people will put the (inner) pannels back on in the winter to help insulate, If you are going to glass the doors save yourself the headache and use your doors. Maule builds the doors to fit the (THAT) airplane so any others aren't going to fit right. You can't just buy a set of doors to put on your bird they have to be coustum fit
