Magneto Maintenance

Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?

Thanks Trent! I'm guessing this will also work for Bendix mags?

That's about the cost of having one Mag overhauled or an exchange so it might be worth it. The payoff would be on the second time around.

A parts kit is about $200 so with that tooling I'd be into it about 1 AMU ($1k) for both Mags.

Had both Bendix 1200 series mags overhauled by Navajo Accessories in San Antonio last spring, think it was about $1200 out the door. Sounds like buying the tools is well worth the expense in long run.

You will probably need to scrape up individual tools!
