19th of April and the wx was as they say not recomended vfr. Left anyway and after I got east of the Warner Mountains it was easy. This pic is taken just west of Denio Junction with the Steens Mountains in the distance.

Plenty of room at the airplane parking spot

Our camp. Nice that the ground troops brought a nice tent. Steens backgroound.

This lake has Lahontan Cutthrout Trout. They vary in looks. Met a guy that has fished it for years and he says no two look alike

Headin home. The 310 fork and 600x6 on the nose are designed for cattle gaurds

Could not resist stopping on the way home for a cheese burger with grilled onion and a raspberry shake at a trendy spot just north of Denio Junction

Almost home. Did I say that I like vfr in the pacific northwest. Still in Nevada and can see Mt Shasta up ahead. No fancy stuff to find my way.

This will be an annual trip for me.
