Manual Flaps Cessna 206

I've searched some on the internet but haven't found an answer yet. Are there any Cessna 206 models with a johnson bar/manual flaps? I really enjoyed the manual flaps on my straight tail 182.

No, and you don’t want to go there, for many reasons. The best reason is if you learn to work those electric flaps, they work REALLY well.

I can't imagine the amount of torque it would take to pull those big flaps on. They work just fine with electric, and I really haven't found the need for manual of them. Just set 20 for takeoff and go.

FWIW, years ago in a 206 that was set up for off roading, we bootlegged a push button flap retract on the yoke. It let you keep a hand on the throttle and still get the weight on the wheels to shorten things up. It helped.

That's quick and easy on floats to shorten up landings---just reach over and flip the flap switch to "UP" as you flare......NO float in ground effect. Easy on wheels too, one of the benefits of electric flaps, actually.
