Maule M5 Legroom Increase?
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?
I posted this on another site but figure there are quite a few knowledgable Maule guys here, so here is the question.
I tentatively sold my M5 today. The purchaser is 6'3" and was pretty cramped sitting in the aircraft. He put a deposit down anyway but told him I would help check into extending legroom options. I'm aware thinner high density seat foam from the likes or Oregon Aero are available but I'm wondering if there are other options. I've heard the newer Maule seats offer an additional 3" of legroom. Does anyone have details on this? Is there any other options out there to extend the legroom?
thx.

What is the reason that the seat cannot be moved rearward further?

Maule has these stops and i would say that total movement fron to back is 5". So, it is back as far as possible and for anyone taller than 6', it's usually a problem. They dont have a "conventional" track system like cessna.
