McCall Airport Web cam

By the way In case anybody didn't know there is a web cam at Mccall Airport. Just type Mccall Municipal airport into your search engine and pull it up. The view is looking South from the ramp and you can get an idea how much snow they have. Not much else to see there though.

You're really making us work for it, aren't you?

McCall Municipal Aiport website:
http://www.mccall.id.us/government/depa ... rport.html

FYI...If you want to capture something you see on a particular webcam, the best method is to save the current image of the cam to a local file and then upload it to our gallery. If you simply hotlink the image, it will continue to change every few minutes just like the webcam.

Keep in mind too, that "web cam" is a pretty vague subject. Make it easier on searchers by using something like "McCall Airport Webcam."

Sorry to be such a nanny.

Take your lashes like a man!
I have to restrain myself, I'm starting to over moderate like some sort of 170 enthusiast. Good find with the web cam. Somewhere out there, there is a website that lists many airport webcams in existence.

Here's some links to sites with airport web cams, some have streaming audio for ATC, etc.

Some of them are pretty interesting, some are not as interesting, there are enough links to keep you busy for a few hours, especially if you are on dial up.

http://www.futurastudios.com/atc.html
http://www.scenery.org/airport_video_cams_links.htm
http://www.flyingineurope.be/Airport%20webcams.htm

I'm sure there are more sites, but these were highest on the results returned.

Go for it Zane- get that over-moderation outa your system:
1) lecture someone in a pompous fashion
2) delete a post, or move it into a members-only forum (or both!)
3) cap on a poster after you've hidden his post (see #2)
4) act offended when someone objects to the above
G'wan, I dare ya!

Ice...nothing to join. ;) Freedom is free! Just keep posting.

In an attempt to foil this hijack...

I love McCall airport. Doug and I flew in there this summer to get burger stuff for the fly-in. Neat little place. That valley is beautiful.

good one Zane,

Don't let it out of the bag that this is only the public part of BCP.org.

We have a good group on the "other side".

Not to high-jack an already high-jacked thread, but if you see a guy rolling around in a big yellow John Deere on the web cam, that would be me.

We've had more than 2 feet of snow in the last week. Brundage, the ski area, has had over 40" since last Wednesday, the skiing's been awesome, when I can get away from the airport.

It was real cool here today, mid 60's. Went out to the Date Creek Ranch and worked on x-wind landings it was about 5mph at 90. Tough day on the desert

zane wrote:... Make it easier on searchers ...Sorry to be such a nanny.

Yes, the search parties are probably having a difficult enuf time trying to search for stuff with all this snow over everything.

- Haven't even seen the airport in over a week, much less flown anywhere. 2' of snow here in California's coast range w/ more comin'.

P. S. Any computer tips are welcome here (what's a local file, anyway?) Seriously, it'd be good to have a place to go to for those of us who're at sea in this computer world.

Outta here, 'till the snow melts, Berk

I didn't know there was such a thing as a yellow John Deere. I thought they were aLL green. What a great forum. I learn something new every day here.
