Hey BCP folks, I need some help and/or advice.

My wife and I are coming back to Idaho (from NH) to visit some friends and do a river trip. We need to get from McCall to Salmon on the afternoon of the 7/22. I have tried McCall Aviation and unless I book with them today (7/15), then they want a full charter fare of $588.

So... Does anyone local have any other charter suggestions or...

Does anyone want to share expenses to help me get over to Salmon. Even better would be an impromptu back country tour with a stop or two at some fun mountain strip. Wife and I would combine for 310# and not more than 50# in a couple dry bags. Arriving in Boise about noon - McCall no later than 3:00.

I know that most of you in the area are at JC this weekend, but please let me know with a post or a PM or a call if you have any suggestions.

Try Salmon Air, or SP Aircraft 208 336 3161. They might be a little more flexible. I would be careful trying to hitch a ride with just anyone. Every year there are always a few planes that go down or get bent up pretty bad when people get in over their head.

You might try Middle Fork Aviation in Cahalis. Ask for Pete. 208-879-5728. They have well maintained 206's

They have tons of experience and they now do a mtn flying clinic every year. They would stop anywhere you would like or if you do not know then they would have a lot of sugestions.
