Sure was nice seeing you again Robert Redford. Back to the cold Tundra tomorrow. Hope to be down more coming up soon. Made it home just fine with the Stearman. 1:45 min....that was about as long as I would want to go. GPS went out right at SAT...... back to chart and compos..... did fine with 1/4 tank left of fuel. :)

Barnstormer Always great to see you Willie. Time for Foreflight or Garmin Pilot (also an app for the iPhone). Great that you were able to switch to a paper chart while in the air, what with all the storage locations in a Stearman cockpit. Liked your new smoke system. I was amazed at how the smoke didn't roll into the cockpit with where your exhaust is indexed. Mine is out the bottom and smoke rolls up around the fuselage and some gets in the cockpit. Believe on the new Stearman I'll index the exhaust where yours is. Stay warm.
