Thinking of Courierguy and BRD all DAY

Made a big loop through Norther 1/2 of Iowa and southern 1/3 of Minnesota yesterday and today (driving :( ) and some place received 10-12 inches of fresh snow.

All drove past miles of fields with NO TRACKS..... I could close my eyes and just see those 2 dropping down and putting there mark on each and everyone ........

Day dreaming about flying sure helps the miles pass in a truck :D

Wow!! I was thinking the same back when I was trucking all over Wyoming, Montana and eastern Idaho. Also many thoughts about how Tom would enjoy landing next to all them abandon houses, barns and old wind mills along some of those roads, too.

One thing I do while driving to an out of town crane job (some are 3 or 4 hrs away, cell phone antenna sites up a mountain) is of course eyeball for new sites to land. Many times, a day or so later, I retrace the earlier drive in Miss Piggy, but this time aerially cavorting instead of ground bound lumbering. An uphill grade that had me in a low gear for an extended period of time, or a twisty downgrade are now no problem at all! The contrast is a hoot for sure!

I probably should have been taking notes. But one little log/wood cabin I always thought would be cool to land and get a pic next to with hills in the background is located south of Three Forks, MT at the junction of Hwy 287 and 2. It's on the east side of the road maybe 50 yards or so north of the junction. Looks like pretty good ground from the highway.
