Re: Merry christmas! Did you clean up?

I bet I did better than anybody else here.

A few weeks ago my wife said no problem with an avionics upgrade to the old 182. GNS 430 W. Will be done just after new years.

For a couple of months we have talked about a building a new hangar at Bandon, OR airport. She is more concerned with did I work hard enough before I retired to retire. Yesterday morning she gave the go ahead. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Looks good, I forgot to tell ya, let some air out of the tires, I put some extra in to help move it around. Are you liking the extra hp and prop?

Hey Tom, yeah I let some air out before I took off in Graham. The cub is friggin awesome now, huge difference at higher altitude! Baby bush is on the short list though, tail bounces around like a pogo stick in the rocks haha [emoji12]

Cool, a new strip to bag. ;-) I'll call first.

Merry day after Christmas. Scored a Drift Ghost-S, a Nikon D5300, a new wallet (without any money in it :( ), and three golf balls which I plan to hit into the Arctic Ocean off Barrow later next year (seems like a cool place to loose them since that's their destiny anyway).

Merry Christmas all (a day late....)

We had a wonderful Christmas day here spent with family and friends. Many blessings and wonderful memories with my son, he really had a hoot this Christmas and cleaned up well. He'll be ready for many camping adventures next summer! :)

Fun day of sighting in my new scope and eating like a refugee with my dad. The 308 is grouping nicely but I couldn't setup much longer than 100 yards out here.

The addition of a can of Spam would upgrade that meal to Cowboy Cuisine.

What I failed to capture were the brats on a fork strategically positioned in the fire. Then we had coffee and a blueberry muffin for dessert. :)

You had little annoying children on a fork over the fire?

Re: Merry christmas! Did you clean up?

Now let me get this straight. You had Brats&beans, coffee and a blueberry muffin and you are calling that a refugee meal and I am thinking it is more along the lines of BCP five star fine dining. Throw in the setting up the 308 with the new scope and that is about a perfect day. The only thing that could make it better is if you flew to the site and a coyote walked in front of the target during testing.

Re: Merry christmas! Did you clean up?

Nah, coyote to smart. Now a fox...he'll look at ya and walk away. Making a nice bulls eye for a 300 ultra mag...that is sighted in at 200.

Baby Bushwheel also helps lower the nose from the Thrustline. I still cant see over the nose, but almost..

Re: Merry christmas! Did you clean up?

I got a helicopter, and hangar to keep it in! The reason it's still in one piece, is that I have yet to take it outside, a few low hovers over the kitchen table has been it so far. I'll post a picture in a few days of the wreckage. This is a simple cheap play toy, around 30 or 40 bucks I think, but Leonardo (di Vince, not the actor) would have been tickled with this thing, I am anyway. Full three axis flight, a real aircraft =D>
