Anyone know the status of the Miller Flat dirt strip on the Lost Coast approx 8 mi north of Shelter Cove.
Contact person? Condition?
Thanks

Talked to the owner a few years back when he stopped at Montague for business. It is private and he does not want anybody stopping by. He uses it but wants to keep a low profile. Stopping and showing a waiver of liability as Rob does

would be a bad idea.

If it looks smooth, it might be. If it looks rough, it is...www.bigtirepilot.com ...www.alaskaheliski.com
I didn't know about the airstrip at "The Flat", as the surfers call it, north of Shelter Cove. An old friend lived there in the late 80's, for the sole purpose of surfing the great, uncrowded waves. He'd hike with his camping gear up to the Flat for days at a time when it was on...
Just him and the Great Whites!
