I heard that the lodge was up for an un-reserved auction.
We are thinking about camping there over labor day, are they still open?

The lodge is open at this time and will be through laborday, it was purchased by a Investment banker and his sister an Lawyer.... No other news as of yet

I've been into Minam Lodge several times this Spring and Aaron and his crew are making allot of progress. It will be worth your time just to go there to see what they've done. He said that they will be opening up for business on Memorial Day Weekend and if your heading into Minam a heads up notice would be great. They can be contacted on their website at http://www.theminamlodge.com . He would also like to get the word out that they will be closed on Wednesdays each week to give the crew a breather, so if we would all respect that, they would appreciate it. They've done some great work on the runway also and it has improved.

They have also accumulated a little more stuff (junk) to be hauled out and we maybe putting together another "mini" Minam Air Lift in the near future which will include a great evening dinner for the participants. I'll keep you all posted.
