Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Nothing cosmic here, but we're happy with the 3 mods shown.

Removed the large strobe from the fin.
Installed Whelen Orion 650's on the wings/Orion 500 on the tail.
Installed Emerging Lifesaving Technologies ELT406(annual family trip in Feb that crosses the Adirondack, Green, and White Mountain ranges; I will sleep better this year).

Nice. I like the look of the orion 650s. They don't have power packs do they? You just have to run one more wire out for syncing them right? That mod is high on my list for my 180.

No power packs. One wire out to run flasher(if you don't already have wing strobes), plus one sync wire if desired.

What sold me over the competition was the seamless replacement of the legacy nav lights, same footprint, screw pattern, and general look; and no reports of noise in the audio system. I also have zero noise.

I'd say they are brighter in real life, than the video. It's hard to look at them. The nav lights are much brighter than original

OK. That's what I figured. I like them for the same reasons. Good to hear an actual pirep on them. Thanks!
