Mogas accessable by plane

Thought it might be nice to start a thread to make others aware (that can/will use it) of places they can stop and be able to get Mogas(ethanol free). Save some bucks/more/cheaper flying :D =D> =D> Taxi to/short walk w/5 gal. containers.

I am hoping to find little, out of the way places in the west. Landing on roads is fine.

A couple that I know are:

Cal Black, near the NE end of Lake Powell Utah.

Thre is a gas station at Gouldings/Monuement Valley, that some planes might be abe taxi to, or a short walk w/containers.

I have been landing at Delle, UT for quite a few years now. It is a gas station and convenience store about 60 nm east of Wendover, UT on I-80. Mogas, hot dogs and soda. Free soda if you get 100 bucks worth gas.

Does Denio Junction have eth free gas? Have not been to Mina, NV but Gump says you can taxi to pump. Also not sure of the eth.

Longmont has Auto fuel. It also has inexpensive 100LL as does Leadville.

Burley Idaho ain't bad, if you're good at climbing the cyclone "security" fence (I am, if its for gas) right across the street.
Mountain Home FBO sells Mogas last I heard
Afton Wyoming has a gas station at the end of the old airstrip, now the Aviat strip, although there has been some junk in the way lately, not sure if that's to keep planes out or just handy paved storage!
I used to get gas in Hailey, before they went to a controlled tower, right across the north end of the runway there is a convinence store, the gate was unlocked and I'd push the plane across the highway to the pump. Can't do that now, for sure.
Smiley Creek, maybe ethonal by now.
Three Forks Montana, a 1/2 mile walk though.

I found out about Delle,UT the day after filling up at Cedar City, coming back from last years Copperstate, Cedar City (boo, hiss) was damn near 5 bucks a gallon. Paying top dollar for AV gas really tees off a pilot with an engine that prefers unleaded mogas (Rotax 912), its a double whammy!

I figured I carried a minimum of 1,000 gallons of mo gas using my first Montague folding bike and my first S-7. 5 gallons at a time (two 2 1/2 jugs), I just hung them from the handlebars, simple and worked great. 4 gph at most, makes this doable, that and being cheap, in shape, and landing places with no other options! I still go XC with a couple 2 1/2 jugs (carried empty on a custom rack in the tail cone), still carry the bike (have to get to the bar) but now have less need due to more range and more carried fuel, not to mention the whole ethonal thing. My 12 gallon ferry tank comes out in seconds, so that and the jugs gets me 17 gallons, that only works if I have wheels, as in a borrowed car.

Re: Mogas accessable by plane

Oh yeah....one time some years back, I landed on the frontage road (parallel to the interstate) near Little America Wyoming, the giant gas station/ truck stop. I parked some distance away, at the edge of the truck parking, and carried the fuel over. A semi parked alongside me, blocking view of the plane. As I had to make a few trips at one point I noticed a Wyoming state trooper was in the middle of some interaction with a motorist, about 150' away from the parked plane, I walked within 30' of him, around the semi, finished the fueling up, and without any further ado got the hell out of there, no extended runup, just start and go. I always wondered what he thought about that...in my defense somewhat, I really did need the fuel bad, thanks to the headwind.
