Yep! We had a Velcro PTT that did the trick.

+1 on this. I'm specifically looking for a Johnson bar E model. As long as you put gear up/down at proper speeds it's a complete non-event.

Just sold my 'E'. Would rather have sold it to a BCP'r.... Loved that bird. Had some sweet lopresti mods on it.
