More dingage and Wreckery at KAPA
Debrief, share, and hopefully learn from the mistakes of others.
I guess that means they can rebuild it using both Piper and Husky parts. Then he would have the worlds only Pusky A1-18.

Actually I can think of at least three others

...This one, built by Doug Keller (builder of the original Carbon Cub) was probably the most famous, as I believe it one of Mauleguys 'Big rocks' vids... basically a 'bush equipped' cub fuse mated to a husky wing
Take care Rob

Is there such a thing formally known as a "Piper Husky"? Or was that a mis-statement by the newswriter?
I find it kind of hard to believe that a journalist would know that there are three examples in the world of cub fuselages mated to Husky wings.
Cool looking airplane though!

Thanks Rob, I didn't realize the "rocks" guy used Husky wings. The combination sure does work.

The picture of the accident airplane is of a Husky.
Remember, for decades, the media identified ALL aircraft other than airliners as a "Piper Cub". So, I guess we're making progress????
