I just figured this whole thing out. You are the rider/climber in that story: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=503537
You see, I've traveled overseas a ton this year and spent many nights in the Hotel reading Adventure Rider reports. Its the only time I have to do it. These stories take a while to read and there is no peace at home or the office so trips overseas are made easier reading others adventures.
The story about your journey to Phoenix and climbing Pyramid Peak gave me the shivers in the hot Australian outback in October. I sent this link to some buddies who like to climb and ride as well. We all agree that the ledge you guys traversed was sick. And there is some strange vibe among Colorado guys who wander around talking about "fourteeners". I thought you might all be scruffy versions of "Chester" the molester!![]()
jk
Anyways, I've enjoyed reading your stories on adv and here at bcp. At the end of the day, some guys just get it done- Thanks for sharing with the terminal wanna-be's.
