Re: Mountain Flying in Washington

The camera angle doesn't show it so well, but I like the way the nose is allowed to go down naturally in the steep turns. You don't have a rocket in the tail of your Cessna. Good job.

What airstrip is that? Is it open to the public?

Re: Mountain Flying in Washington

John told me the strip is private, and belongs to an old man, he doesnt mind him landing there, Its very close to Harvey field but I dont know the name.

The fresh snow we flew north east of Harvey field, and was on some of those peaks.
Beautiful scenery.

Looked kinda like Majerle's old strip near Duvall, but appears to be longer than that one.

Hot rod,

It very well ,any be that strip, I know it was been lengthened from original. Lies along west edge of the valley. NE/SE. Really big large metal hangar/barn. Old airplanes sitting outside
