Mountainmatt is a moderator

You may have noticed the "Janitorial Staff" title under Mountainmatt's username.

He is a great contributor and enthusiastic participant in this community, and I have enjoyed his presence here. He often helps new posters with finding tutorials and specifics on posting photos, videos, etc. So, because of his willingness to participate, I've hung a new albatross 'round his neck: Site moderator. It's akin to giving someone a pet elephant.

If you need help with your account, or have problems posting, or see something out of whack or inappropriate, Matt can help you in addition to myself.

Thanks for your help, Matt.

Re: Mountainmatt is a moderator

Just a bump to thank Matt for all his hard work over the last year. He organized the super-successful fly-in raffle that raised $6200 for our favorite backcountry advocacy groups. For the last few months he has single handedly processed all the registration approvals and provided account support to you guys. On top of that he's working as an advocate for Colorado airstrips and turning out cool vids to entertain us. If you see him on the street, give him a hug and say "thanks." Maybe a kiss if you feel some chemistry.

Thanks Matt. Beers on me next time we occupy the same lat/long.
