Do you have strip at the farm.

Hi Tim, I have 850' of hay field. So far I am to chicken, ah, to wise to try it.
I have a 100 gallon tank in the back of the PU, so I haul it to KTTD.
Good question on Medford. It is legal in Or. Wa. and Id to sell UL mogas for off road use. But as we are finding out it is not easy to find, YET! I think that will change.

Well it's rough, side hill / up hill, one way landing, not oriented into prevailing wind, 100 trees on the go around, with rising terrain, not a good go around, have to thread the needle between 50 foot trees on the approach.
It can be done. As Clint Eastwood said. " A man has got to know his limitations" I didn't get to 50 years old doing the things I have done and be foolish.
I don't need the bragging rights anymore. Now if someone out there wants the bragging rights be my guest. I'll get the video camera out.
Approach over the dirt between the trees, over the drainage ditch, slopes down to left, as you slow turn right towards the street. This doesn't show the 100' tree but it's there.
RobBurson wrote:stol, I wondered how you could take off 2 times in 850'. I checked out your web site and it became clear. A V8 in an experimental, now that's a thing of beauty.

qmdv wrote:Hey rob, that is nice country you live in. Will have to get a photo of my proposed landing area. It is 1100 ft long with power line 650 ft before touchdown spot. Slight uphill.
