MY72 Mille Lacs Minnesota

Flew into MY72 this weekend to do some small mouth bass fishing. Not really a "backcountry" strip but, it is a great grass strip. It's operated by a private club that has a $20 a year voluntary membership. Membership also includes use of the curtesy car and bikes. If you like Bass, Musky, Walleye, or small mouth fishing Mille lacs lake is about the best it gets.

We did great! I had my two boys with me. We each caught multiple 5-6 pound small mouth and some nice Walleye. I do gave to give most of the credit to the guide. He was great and really knew how to put us on the fish.
