Went and dropped in on Lloyd this evening to get the scoop on his airplane. Nice guy, talked for a couple hours, mostly about skydiving. He's 82, has 1000 jumps in the last 30 years, and is still going strong, although he's pretty well deaf (I let him do most of the talking

). Anyway, he flew jumpers in the 206 for years down in CA and in ID, but at some point the right wing was damaged, he didn't say how. He towed the airplane to his place, so there's never been a strip around here. He's got plans to get it flying again, looks like a big undertaking to me. It's been sitting there since the 80s, needs an engine, avionics, interior, right wing repaired, etc. So there's the story. Not quite as glamorous as I'd imagined, but it was worth it to hear some of his skydiving stories! Skydivers sound like a, um, lively, bunch
